Experience as a licensed Psychologist gained in Italy, where between 2009 and 2011 I worked as an Organisational Psychologist. Upon my move to Canada and after further training in Clinical Psychology, I was licensed by the local regulatory body as Clinical Psychologist in January 2017. I have been practicing in private practice since, providing psychotherapy to adults and young adults. Furthermore, I have taught and supervised Masters candidates completing their internship at the Argyle Institute in Montreal, Canada.
How I work: 50-minute in person and/or telepsychology sessions. My clinical approach is mainly psychodynamic, although I integrate techniques from other approaches when judged appropriate. Within an empathic, consistent and safe psychotherapeutic space, I support the person acknowledge and understand their emotional and psychological difficulties in the here and now. Through an explorative work on emotions, thoughts and behaviours, and within the clinical relationship, the individual is helped access early life experiences to gain insight into their current lives. The objective is to facilitate change and improve overall well-being.
